Reviewed **2026-09-14**. `color-magenta` remains pending. Its local value
`magenta` may be a loanword; identical English spelling alone establishes
neither an error nor correct Aromanian usage.
The Society Farsharotu's [English–Aromanian dictionary](https://s3.wasabisys.com/fars-media/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/An-English-Aromanian-Macedo-Romanian-Dictionary-%C2%A9Society-Farsharotu-1.pdf)
was inspected at PDF page 445 (zero-based page 444), where the alphabetical
entries proceed from magician to magnet. No magenta entry occurs in that
sequence. This is stronger than an unsuccessful OCR keyword search, but
does not establish that modern speakers cannot use the loanword. The scan's
OCR frequently misreads English headings; other terminology still requires
page inspection or an independent native source.
Chivarzina's [2023 Aromanian color field study](https://ezikovsvyat.swu.bg/images/stories/issue%2021.2_2023/8.%20A.Chivarzina_61_66.pdf)
combines dictionary evidence with interviews in Bitola and Krushevo.
Pages 63 and 65 discuss wine-derived words covering blue and purple shades,
and the limited secondary-color evidence obtained in interviews. Those
findings do not justify replacing local `color-purple` with a supposedly
exclusive blue term, or substituting pink/purple for magenta. The study
also supports the native red term already present as `color-red`.
Next: locate an independently attested Aromanian magenta name or a native
technical color glossary. Romanian dictionary entries are not Aromanian
attestation. Preserve the existing value until that evidence establishes
the correct repair or retention. No acceptance, replacement, or browser
verification is claimed by this research; the Aromanian finding remains pending.
## Second dictionary inspected — 2026-09-15
Cunia's Dictsiunar a Limbãljei Armãneascã (2010), obtained from the native
Vivliuteca library, adds an independent dictionary source to the earlier
something attached to something else. Both were directly fetched and decoded
as declared ISO-8859-1. [Official council description](https://www.osakidetza.euskadi.eus/zibersegurtasunaren-euskal-agentziaren-administrazio-kontseilua/webosk00-oskcon/eu/)
uses kide bat for an individual member. [GNOME Evolution documentation](https://help.gnome.org/evolution/mail-attachments-sending.html.eu)
uses eranskinak for file attachments and explains the attached file copy.
Its untranslated English instructions are not native terminology evidence.
Exact subjects, both assembled action labels, copula negatives and actual
Reviewed **2026-09-14**, local evidence commit `ee94227ea`. Both original epoch findings were pending at this evidence review; the dated repair below supersedes that status.
The current civil and astronomical labels are English-only. They need
complete tabular-calendar wording and distinct epoch identification, not
merely the generic Islamic calendar name. Existing Haatumeere Lislaam
has earlier calendar-context evidence and is not replaced by this review.
New primary component evidence:
- [Senegal Ministry of Education terminology guide](https://senprof.education.sn/PROGRAMME%20LECTURE%20POUR%20TOUS/documentation/Terminologies/Terminologie%20Pulaar%20fusion.pdf) gives Haatumeere for a grid/table, with tracking and analysis grid compounds. This supports a structured data-table sense rather than a furniture-table interpretation. The guide also supplies calendar names and uses the verb Fuɗɗaade for starting an activity.
- [Oumar Bah Pular–French dictionary](https://www.webonary.work/pular/files/Dictionnaire-Pular-Fran%C3%A7ais.pdf), printed page 160, gives fuɗɗoode for beginning/start. The indexed primary entry was available; direct browser PDF retrieval returned an internal error. Do not claim a full PDF or grammar review from that indexed entry.
- [Unicode CLDR calendar types](https://cldr.unicode.org/development/development-process/design-proposals/islamic-calendar-types) distinguishes tabular civil Friday epoch (Julian 622-07-16) from astronomical Thursday epoch (Julian 622-07-15). Explicit starting dates can preserve that distinction, but cannot stand in for translating the tabular calculation component.
The table-to-calendar calculation compound remains unverified. Search
results mentioning hiisaade were not accepted as proof of a particular
calculation meaning without the complete dictionary entry. Likewise a
Pular beginning noun cannot alone establish Pulaar dialect consistency or
technical epoch usage. The spelling of the Julian proper name also needs
review rather than copying an English qualifier into an otherwise native
label.
Next: retrieve the calculation entry and a native educational example of
computational tables, then compose both complete labels and verify their
grammar. Preserve the current translated generic/sighting/Umm al-Qura
values unless evidence establishes a specific defect. No locale changes,
new correction records or unchanged-language acceptances were made.
Generic calendar/Hijri, Saudi Arabia, moon-sighting inflection, tabular
and astronomical-epoch wording still require native evidence and direct
repair. Urdu-only Hijri pages from the search are not Kashmiri evidence.
No translation or ledger acceptance was made. Original pending remains
259, including two Kashmiri findings; full native/browser work stays open.
## Saudi sighting draft — 2026-09-14
Local commit `58809a724` replaces English-only country wording with a
Kashmiri Hijri/calendar, Saudi Arabia and moon-seeing draft. This repairs
the missing observation component as well as the wrong-language seed.
The existing generic Hijri calendar wording is retained.
Primary component sources:
- [Unicode CLDR Kashmiri XML](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/unicode-org/cldr/main/common/main/ks.xml): Saudi Arabia territory spelling.
- [IGNCA sentence of the day, number 50](https://ignca.gov.in/PDF_sentences/Sentectoftheday_050.pdf): indexed Kashmiri football sentence uses the Unicode seeing infinitive. This supports spelling, not lunar-object agreement.
- [Modern Kashmiri Grammar](https://ikashmir.net/onkoul/pdf/ModernKashmiriGrammar.pdf): moon and seeing components, nominalized infinitives and agreement, as read and described above.
- [G. N. Atish native literary text](https://www.kashmirilanguage.com/WORD_Books/GN_Atish_3of3.html): Zoon spelling also occurs in a discussion of Nakhshab's moon. The same page uses Zoon as a person's name; those personal-name occurrences alone are not moon evidence.
**Low confidence:** the assembled phrase is not attested as a complete
calendar name. Infinitive agreement with the feminine moon object,
nominalization and the inflected Arabic-script phrase still require native
review. The attested standalone seeing form does not prove that form is
correct in this compound. This correction does not mark that uncertainty
resolved. Tabular/astronomical epoch wording and the existing civil-calendar
translation also remain open.
Four focused suites pass: exact source placeholders/tags and key order,
correction provenance, newer translations and the specific label. No live
calendar-selector browser test was run. Ledger 19,768, original corrected
Reviewed **2026-09-14**. The generic `calendar` label is now `Watanqillqa`,
replacing `Kay willaymi: Calendarta`. The prefix did not translate the noun.
The Chilean Ministry of Education's [illustrated Quechua dictionary](https://aprendoenlinea.mineduc.gob.cl/sites/default/files/newtenberg/614/articles-134497_recurso_pdf.pdf)
was downloaded and its title, provenance and relevant entry read directly.
PDF page 19, printed page 18, gives the calendar term. The introduction
identifies native authors from Ollagüe and the Cusco Collao variety; the
edition is January 2019, by Julia Quispe, Miguel Urrelo and Agustina Morales.
This is native dictionary evidence for a generic calendar, not a claim that
every Quechua variety uses the same term.
The specific calendar-system values still use `Intiwatana`; their full
compounds require separate review. The pending astronomical-epoch value
still lacks translated qualifiers. Do not accept it by replacing only its
base noun. No original pending finding is counted as resolved here.
The focused locale test checks the exact noun and rejects the prior prefix
and solar-observatory term. Locale-wide placeholder and key-order checks
remain in that suite. A direct interface reference to the generic key was
not located in the inspected client source, so no browser rendering of this
key is claimed. Calendar-system settings verification remains open.
## Day and daily recurrence — 2026-09-14
The same primary dictionary directly attests `P’unchay` (day) in its time
vocabulary (printed page 158) and `Sapa p’unchay` (each day) on printed page 18. Local `day`
and `every-1-day` previously contained English words with a language prefix;
they now use those native terms. These are quoted lexical entries rather
than newly composed astronomical terminology. Other Quechua varieties may
spell the day noun differently; this batch consistently follows the native
Cusco Collao source without overwriting unrelated existing values.
The board calendar and multiboard calendar both translate the `day` toolbar
label through this key. The focused test verifies that wiring, exact native
values, and rejection of the previous English wrappers. The older recurrence
key has no direct reference in the inspected client source. No live browser
check is claimed. The pending astronomical-epoch compound remains unresolved.
## Named calendar noun corrections — 2026-09-14
Dangi, Minguo and the generic Hijri option now use the dictionary's generic
calendar noun, preserving their proper names. The same dictionary's printed
page 42 identifies `Inti watana` as a clock; page 18 distinguishes calendar.
These options select a calendar system in Member Settings, rather than a
clock. Their name-plus-noun constructions are adapted, **low confidence**
pending full native compound review; the dictionary does not quote these
three complete labels. Exact noun/proper-name regression tests cannot prove
full fluency or browser rendering.
The remaining calendar options, settings heading, astronomical qualifier
and other existing uncertain translations still require review. No original
pending finding is resolved by this batch, and no live browser test ran.
## Nine calendar-option noun repairs — 2026-09-14
Local commit `474a2909e` replaces Intiwatana (clock) with Watanqillqa
(calendar) in Gregorian, Buddhist, Chinese, Coptic, Ethiopic Amete Alem,
Ethiopic, Hebrew, Japanese and Umm al-Qura options. The Chilean Ministry
- [USMP Quechua dictionary, volume 2](https://fcctp.usmp.edu.pe/librosfcctp/DICCIONARIO-Quechua-espanol-VOL_2.pdf): qallariy includes beginning and point of departure.
- [Unicode CLDR calendar types](https://cldr.unicode.org/development/development-process/design-proposals/islamic-calendar-types): civil Friday and astronomical Thursday epochs, both tabular, with Julian dates.
**Low confidence:** tawla yupay is an assembled technical description, not
an attested complete translation of tabular-calendar calculation. Using
qallariy for a calendar epoch is likewise an adaptation. Dialect consistency,
Juliano borrowing, the complete grammar and Saudi sighting wording still
need review. Zero original Quechua pending entries does not close this
broader review. Four focused suites pass; no live calendar-selector browser
validation was run. Ledger 19,765; original corrected 15,685, pending 218,
restored 4 unchanged. No remote push.
## Saudi moon-sighting label — 2026-09-14
Local commit `3edd8d499` revises calendar-system-islamic-rgsa: replace
clock-only Intiwatana with Watanqillqa, and explicitly identify moon sighting
in Saudi Arabia. The old rikusqa qualifier left the observed object unclear.
Primary references:
- [USMP Quechua dictionary, volume 1](https://fcctp.usmp.edu.pe/librosfcctp/DICCIONARIO-Quechua-espanol-VOL_1.pdf): AVISTAMIENTO gives qhawarisqa for the result of sighting.
- [Peru Ministry of Education Southern Quechua vocabulary](https://formacionenservicio.minedu.gob.pe/sifods/centro-recurso/2022/Material-educativo/757.018453-ITEM-16-Vocabulario-pedinaria-Quechua-Sureno-ALTA.pdf): killa in lunar vocabulary and a moon-phase section.
- [Unicode CLDR calendar types](https://cldr.unicode.org/development/development-process/design-proposals/islamic-calendar-types): rgsa is Saudi Arabia sighting, distinct from both tabular epochs.
Full calendar compound and dialect consistency remain low confidence.
The individual dictionary entries do not attest the assembled technical
phrase. Four focused suites pass, preserving all locale placeholders,
key order, original ledger before values and newer translations. The
regression rejects clock wording in all calendar-system labels and tabular
calculation/epoch wording in the Saudi sighting label. No browser run.
Counts unchanged: ledger 19,765, original pending 218, restored 4. This
revises an existing correction; zero Quechua queue entries does not prove
completion of broader native review. No remote push.
Reviewed **2026-09-14**. All 17 original calendar findings in each locale
remain pending. This review changes the terminology research direction;
no translation is accepted or replaced from component evidence alone.
## Tigre: verify the base noun independently
Local `calendar` is `ዓውደ ኣዋርሕ`. The [Building Bridges bilingual calendar](https://saskliteracy.ca/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Greetings-English-Tigrigna.pdf)
uses that exact phrase on its first page, explicitly labels its language
English–Tigrinya (`ትግርኛ`) and credits Sirak Kibreab. This establishes
Tigrinya usage, not Tigre usage. Shared script and a potentially shared noun
are insufficient to classify the local value as either correct or wrong.
Do not construct Tigre calendar-system labels using it until an independent
Tigre source establishes the noun and the relevant grammatical construction.
The [current CLDR Tigre source](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/unicode-org/cldr/main/common/main/tig.xml)
identifies locale `tig`, but its date section contains generic/Gregorian
formatting data rather than native calendar-system display names. Much of
that data is explicitly `draft="unconfirmed"`. English inherited chart
labels and unconfirmed month names do not establish the missing full labels.
A Tigre dictionary or native publication is the next required source.
## Wolaytta: unflagged English calendar noun
Local `calendar` is `Wolayttatto: Calendar`. A language-name prefix does not
translate the English noun. This additional key must be repaired along with
the original calendar findings, after locating usable native terminology.
It is not added as an unchanged acceptance or counted as a corrected finding.
## Context and remaining checks
Both `calendar-system` values are Azerbaijani `Kalendar sistem (data görünüşü)`.
In `client/components/users/userHeader.jade`, the label introduces the member's
calendar selection, distinct from date formatting. Repairs must preserve the
calendar-system/date-display meaning and the distinctions between civil,
astronomical and moon-sighting calendars, plus the exact proper names.
Full phrase review, token preservation, regression coverage and browser
settings verification remain required. No running-browser check was performed.
