This adds an addition to the environment set up for child processes
(plugin container) so that it may still be able to pass the omni
parameters there as-needed.
LIST and RETR still appear to work as intended on ftp:// URLs after my changes. I wasn't able to test STOR because the browser doesn't appear to support FTP uploads at this time (although our FTP implementation appears perfectly capable of doing an FTP upload.)
If I understood the issue correctly, though, what we're doing is ensuring that we receive a preliminary 100 response from the FTP server for a given action before jumping to the 200 code describing what we do if the action was completed. Even though it makes no logical sense for a server to say an action was completed before it was initiated, someone could write a really annoying FTP server that takes advantage of this fact to crash the browser if they wanted.
- Store the clipboard even if it was set in a GTK dialog.
- Fix a GtkTargetList leak.
- Notify GTK that the data is no longer available for
clipboard_get_cb(), so that GTK will no longer advertise nor attempt to
store the data.
Microsoft IME on Windows 10 20H1 (build 19025+) supports IME private
mode by input scope. Although previous Windows versions use an
undocumented API for Edge and IE only, the next Windows 10 release will
use a public API for it.
We pre-empt this potential privacy concern by setting the IS_PRIVATE
flag when in PB mode.
This prevents mail applications from attempting to use an unauthenticated connection to mailbox(s) and avoid unexpected deletion of local mbox files and subsequent re-download of mailbox content over imap.
There are comments in the code suggesting that we've made plans at some
point to handle very far jumps via patching + indirect jumps, but all of
those comments are TODO/FIXME. Absent such a strategy, the furthest jump
is 2^27-1 bytes, and we need to define JumpImmediateRange to reflect
that.
This prevents cross-file access from files loaded into the browser from
the local file system, further restricting the origin policy of file:
URIs.
Added a pref to control this behavior for local file access if required
for certain applications, since this change might break using the
browser to run applications on the local file system that require
access to local files.
Tag #1052 (backout).
Backed out for creating issues like #1191 and other issue-less problems
with e.g. losing the caret from text boxes. Of note: this was also
backed out from m-c for similar reasons in Bug 1332433.
This fixes#1191.
This reverts commit 3424afccae.
Still allow this to be bypassed with a pref for those really rare corner
cases where images are loaded cross-origin by design and the session
hasn't been/can't be authenticated ahead of time.
Normally we wouldn't need to send any notifications if the actor was
already destroyed, but it can be a VersionChangeOp which needs to
notify its parent operation (OpenDatabaseOp) about the failure.
So SendFailureResult needs to be called even when the actor was
destroyed. Normal operations redundantly check if the actor was
destroyed in SendSuccessResult and SendFailureResult, therefore it's
ok to call it in all cases here.
Financial Times' polyfill.io service horribly breaks when it finds
anything but a short list of predefined UA strings. We have to send
them a strict Firefox UA or other sites relying on it will break too
(including PayPal!).
An issue has been raised on their repo.
About time we stopped looking at Netscape 4.x entries in the registry ;)
Also, assume the application association API is present in Windows
and use that instead of reading from the registry directly.
In theory, a convex shape transformed by an affine matrix should still
be convex. However, due to numerical imprecision of floats, when we try
to determine if something is convex, we can get different answers pre
and post a transformation (think of two line segments nearly co-linear).
Convex paths take a faster scan converter, but it is only well behaved
if the path is, in fact, convex. Thus we have to be conservative about
which paths we mark as convex, and cant's trust transformed paths to
retain their convexity. We re-calculate when a transform is applied.
In the original Windows clipboard BMP decoder implementation in
nsImageFromClipboard::ConvertColorBitMap, if the bitmap used bitfields
compression, it always adjusted the offset to the RGB data by 12 bytes.
It did this even for newer BMP header formats which explicitly include
space for the bitfields in their header sizes. This patch updates our
BMP decoder to do the same for clipboard BMPs, since we have observed
pasted BMPs using bitfield compression appearing incorrectly. To the
user this appears as if we read a color mask; completely red, blue,
green pixels at the start of the last row, causing all of the other rows
to start with the last three pixels of the previous row.
Tag #576.
- Redraw toolbar SVG images, pixel-aligning them as best as possible
with manual node placement on the pixel grid.
- Reintroduce PNG versions for < 1.33 dppx (with added glow arrow)
- Make the css adaptive around the 1.33 dppx border, using PNG below
that threshold and SVG above it.
We currently choose to set the animation parameters (blend method, blend
rect, disposal method, timeout) in imgFrame::Finish instead of
imgFrame::InitForDecoder. The decoders themselves already have access to
the necessary information at the time InitForDecoder is called, so there
is no reason to do this. Moving the configuration to initialization will
allow us to relax the mutex protection on these parameters.
This part simply reorganizes imgFrame, and subsequent parts will
introduce the necessary changes to SurfacePipe and decoders.
In addition to further development based on the Mozilla upstream code, and
selective cherry-picking of directly-applicable patches, this repository has its
